Spectacular sunsets are a given at Casa Soledad.  It is our tradition for everyone in the house to stop whatever else is going on and walk out to the oceanside with a drink in our hand to salute the end of another day in paradise.

Every year we see whales just offshore.  One year while on a whale watching expedition we were treated to the sight of a newborn calf being pushed up out of the water by it's mother for it's first breath of air.
